Happy Thanksgiving!

hi Everyone,
We want to wish you all a Happy and Wonderful Thanksgiving! We are so blessed to live in this country where we still have freedoms to choose! We are very thankful for a loving Father in Heaven, and his Son, Jesus Christ...who made all this possible! We are very grateful for our families. We miss them very much especially during the holidays when we don't get to see them. We're thankful that they all have other loving family and friends that take them in and feed and nurture them.

Giving Thanks & Christmas Background

I just couldn't resist putting a Christmas background on our blog already! It's NOT that I'm trying to forget about Thanksgiving because that is a Very important day to us. We are very thankful for all of our many, many blessings. A Wonderful family and great friends and our good health, our faith in the Lord and all of the other blessings we enjoy each and every day! The good job Tom just retired from. This country we live in and all the freedoms that we enjoy. And on Thanksgiving Day we will be thankful for all the Wonderful FOOD and football (of course!)!

Waiting Game

Hi Everyone,
We are still waiting to hear if Tom got his new job. We sure didn't realize that it was going to take this long when he first interviewed for the job. Tom has been enjoying his retirement. We haven't done anything really exciting...AND we haven't driven each other crazy (I thought that would happen the first day!). All in all, everything is going ok here. We will let you all know about the job, just as soon as we know anything.
